How it works
Pick the subject, the style and the size — the guides show examples of each to point at.
Share references and a short written brief; agree on price, timeline and revisions before work starts.
Review a draft, request the agreed revisions and take delivery of something no one else has.
Questions people ask
How much does commissioned art cost?
It ranges widely — small digital pieces can start under a hundred dollars, while large original paintings run into the thousands. Size, medium, detail and the artist's track record set the price.
What does an artist need from me?
Good reference photos, the size and medium you want, your deadline and any must-include details. A short written brief prevents most disappointments.
Who owns the finished artwork?
You own the physical piece; the artist usually keeps copyright unless your agreement says otherwise. Agree on reproduction and social-media use up front.
